Porter SUD Water Meters will be replaced with AMI Meters. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Water Meters allow for all residential and business water meters to be read remotely via a regular radio frequency transmission sent directly from each individual meter.
You may experience a brief service outage lasting approximately 15 minutes while your new meter is installed.
You may experience air in your lines after your meter is installed. We recommend flushing your service line at an outside spigot or bathtub (kitchen and shower fixtures often have screens) for 20 to 30 seconds.
Meters will be installed by a Contractor crew of 3 individuals, Porter SUD employees will also be onsite.

There are two ways customers can sign up for paperless billing:

Bills are due upon receipt. Late fees added January 16th.
Disconnects for non-payment will be on January 28th.
Board of Directors Meeting is scheduled for 7:00pm January 27th.
The Office will be closed at 11:00 am-1:00 pm 1/29/2020 for Employee Training.
